We use two different couriers, Parcelforce and Royal Mail.
Parcelforce do not allow parcels to be left in a safe place as they require a signature as proof of delivery.
If you provide your mobile number at the time of ordering, Parcelforce will send you a text on the morning of delivery. If you are not in, they provide you with options such as leave with a neighbour or delivery to a local post office.
If no one is available when delivery is attempted the carrier will either re-attempt delivery the following day or take your parcel to your nearest post office.
You can then collect the parcel at your convenience or arrange re-delivery.
For Royal Mail Tracked services, you can arrange different options for delivery through their tracking link such as delivery to a safe place, delivery to a neighbour or re-arrange the delivery date.
Please note that neither we or Royal Mail are responsible for parcels that go missing if Royal Mail have followed your requested safe place instructions.
