Royal Mail returns an item to the sender when it cannot be delivered or collected after holding it for 18 days (or 21 days if there is a customs charge).
Some reasons include:
Incorrect or Incomplete Address: Missing house numbers, wrong postcodes, or unreadable/damaged labels.
Recipient Unknown: The person named on the item does not live at or is not known at the address.
Gone Away: The recipient has moved away and no longer resides at the address.
Not Collected: The item was not collected or redelivered from a local delivery office following a missed delivery attempt within the holding period.
Refused Item: The intended recipient refused to accept delivery of the item.
Inaccessible Address: The postman or courier could not physically reach or access the property safely.
Please note, for orders wrongly addressed, recipient unknown/not at address, gone away or refused will not be issued a postage refund upon return.
We provide a confirmation page after your order is placed and 3 emails. An order confirmation email, an invoice email and a dispatch email.
It is your responsibility to ensure all the details including shipping addresses are all accurate and correct.
We will not provide postage refunds for incorrect address information.
We can re-send the order if it is returned back to us, however, a postage charge must be paid to cover the cost of re-sending the parcel.
